HTC One M9s with 2TB expansion gets Official in Taiwan



Taiwanese gadget maker is getting its shippers excited with the new smartphone. Well it turns out to be a replica of earlier launched One M9. The latest release goes by the name HTC One M9s. The handset looks quite similar to M9 but the specs-sheet definitely has some changes. One M9s sports 5-inch FHD Display, Mediatek Helio X10 chipset, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE, and 13MP primary camera. It tends to be a mid-high end gadget priced at TWD 12,900.

Folks in Taiwan are the lucky to get there hands on the gadget.


As per the specs-sheet, HTC One M9s is running on Android Lollipop OS. It features 5-inch Display boasting 1080 x 1920 pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The handset measures 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.6mm and weighs about 158 grams.

On the hardware board, One M9s is powered by Mediatek Helio X10 chipset (quad-core processor may be). It is offered with 2GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and more storage via microSD card up to 2TB.

In terms of imaging, HTC One M9s features 13MP rear shooter with OIS, 27.8mm-equivalent lens with an f/2.0 aperture, sapphire crystal for impressive photography and video recording. For the secondary camera, the handset features UltraPixel 4MP camera for video chats and video recording. Connectivity-wise, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, A-GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, microUSB, etc. It is backed up by 2,840mAh battery life.

HTC One M9s has lot of similarity with E9 and M9 series. The handset is all set ship by weekend for the price TWD 12,900 ($390USD).
